Rivalry going to a new level in 2012

Arizona is raising the stakes in the Territorial cup rivalry. There has been lots of change in both ASU and UofA athletics in recent years.

Arizona State coach Todd Graham has made recruiting his top priority since taking over ASU Football in December. Not only looking to the 2012 season but securing top picks for 2013. Liking within Arizona with Chans Cox the country’s 10th outside linebacker, and 58th overall prospect. Also bringing in ESPN ranked No. 18 dual-threat QB Joshua Dobbs. ASU has already 4 major commitments for the 2013 season.

UofA’s Rich Rodriguez taking focus on Phoenix area for recruitment two wide receivers. Nate Phillips of Chandler Basha High School, and Paul Elvira of Tempe Marcos de Niza both excepting scholarships early. They showed the UofA coaching staff their talents at the Arizona 7-on-7 camp this month.

We will see who will be walking away with the Territorial Cup for 2012 on Friday, Nov. 23, at Arizona.

Nice to hear the good news after a disappointing night.

I still love my Yotes, and they had a great season!!

In the History of the NHL

3 teams have come back from a 3-0 to win a playoff series to WIN!

  1. In 1942 Stanley Cup finals the Toronto Maple Leafs came back to beat  the Detroit Red.
  2. Only in their 3rd NHL series, the New York Islanders beat the Pittsburgh Penguins in the quarter-finals in 1975.
  3. Most recently in 2010 the Philadelphia Flyers came back from 3-0 in the series against the Boston Bruins to win the Eastern Conference.

I believe the Coyotes can defeat LA and join this elite group!

All Coyotes Fans Today …

Referee Fry

We would like to point out that the Kings have played great and we aren’t blaming the Yotes being down 3-0 solely on the refs, but they have been terrible

Coyotes Viewing Party

Looking for a great place to watch the Coyotes/Kings game tonight? Uptown Alley, in Surprise, is hosting a viewing party for Yotes fans. Check it out:

The game, which can be seen on the theater’s six 55-inch flat screen TVs and a massive projection screen, begins at 6 p.m.

Uptown Alley, a 60,000-square-foot complex near Litchfield and Waddell roads, features a 40-lane bowling alley, laser tag, an arcade, billiards the sports theater and Red Embers Bar and Grill.

This sounds like an awesome place to watch the game . . . or just do anything in general.

Zonie Nation Believes

It takes 4 to win the series and LA already has 2 can the Coyotes turn this series around? Well according to Mike Smith they still have much to give, but when will we see it on the ice. The Zonie Nation Believes in the Coyotes, but do the Coyotes Believe? We will find out Tomorrow if they have what it takes.

Let’s Go Yotes

Mike Smith put it best…

We’re here for a reason. We’ve worked really hard to get to this point, but there’s still a lot of work to do. Nothing’s going to come easy now. It’s going to get harder and harder as the playoffs go on, and we’ve addressed that.

It’s time to show Kings that the Yotes are ‘Here to Play, Here to Stay’, and tie this series up!
